wow. ive been an official world racer for a week. it is definitely an adjustment but the best uncomfortable yes ive ever given the Lord. the community here is amazing. imagine tons of teens on fire for and actively seeking the living God. and to think that what ive seen here is a fraction of what heaven is going to be like. Jesus has been teaching me on a deeper level what it means like to love and seek Him, and to love His people. because He is so worth it. He is worth not showering for 4 days (don’t worry we got our first shower!) He is worth waking up early for. He is worth difficult growth as I learn to live in a big community. He is worth the uncomfort. He is worth going all in for. because Jesus is either worth everything or He is worth nothing. and ive learned that He genuinely, truly, and eternally is worthy of it all. He’s worth my yes. this morning we were worshipping and i was just thinking how i am living in exactly what i’ve prayed for. yes, it’s hard. yes, it’s going to get harder. but it’s worth it. the community of God and the abundant life that Jesus longs to bless us with is not absent of hard days, but a promise of peace, joy, and fulfillment in the midst of it. God is a good good Father and i’m beyond thankful to be able to follow Him. wherever He calls me. to the ends of the earth.
